Collective Alternative Management System
ANAKEM is one of the first approved Collective Alternative Management Systems for Excavation, Construction, and Demolition Waste. It takes the form of a corporation, with technical construction companies as shareholders.
We collaborate with AEKK managers (contractors of private and public projects), with Processing Units, and with Companies for the Collection, Transportation, and Temporary Storage of ECDW, for the efficient management, recycling, and utilization of waste. We also collaborate with managers of Excavation, Construction, and Demolition Waste (ECDW) — including contractors of both private and public projects — as well as Processing Units, and companies specializing in the Collection, Transportation, and Temporary Storage of ECDW. Our goal is to ensure the effective management, recycling, and valorization of waste. We monitor and record data on the alternative management of AEKK and prepare reports for the Hellenic Recycling Organization (H.R.O.). We develop awareness initiatives and participate in research programs focusing on the production and utilization of materials from recycled Excavation, Construction, and Demolition Waste (ECDW), along with the sustainability of constructions. These efforts are part of the Central Macedonia Regional Operational Programme and the HORIZON program. We implement a broad corporate social responsibility program and carry out demonstration cleaning actions of historical deposits of Excavation, Construction, and Demolition Waste (ECDW) in protected and particularly burdened areas.
At ANAKEM S.A., we are establishing a dense network of transporters and collection points, as well as processing units throughout Mainland Greece and the islands.
ANAKEM S.A. is certified and implements:
- A Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001
- An Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001
