Information campaigns

To increase sensitization about environmental management and ECDW recycling, ANAKEM informs continuously public and private bodies (public administration, contractors etc) concerning their rights and obligations. It organizes and participates in relative workshops, conferences and exhibitions all over Greece and abroad. In addition, ANAKEM organizes pilot actions – cleanups in ecologically sensitive areas, including the waste transfer and treatment in recycling facilities.

Outcomes

In the areas within its range of operation, ANAKEM collaborates with local companies in the fields of construction and demolition.

Τhe facilities achieve a high percentage of recycling, up to 95%. The produced material can then be used either in technical infrastructures or for backfilling, so the ECDW is part of circular economy.
